About Us

AAA Fuel & Service was established in 1997. Mike Ploennigs set out with just a tool bag in hand and so it began. 

In the last 25+ years the company has grown to what it is today. 

In late 2022 Mike's niece Vicki and husband Matt Kossen purchased the business.

Matt had worked with AAA Fuel & Service for 2+ years in preparation for this endeavor. He also brings to the company many years of prior knowledge and experience in HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing, heating and construction. Matt was a chief engineer for a NYC commercial building. Additionally, Matt's brother Eric joined our team. Eric was a Building Manager for a NYC commercial building.  Both Matt and Eric started as handy-men and climbed to management. They have numerous NYC licenses, training and 20+ years of experience with large central A/C plants, HVAC, plumbing and heating.

AAA Fuel & Service is still locally and family owned. We appreciate our customers sticking with us through the transition.
